Mom Burnout

A Mom’s Burnout Journey and Tips

Are you tired of the mom burnout? As a mom, I have always lacked energy, sleep, and struggled to lose weight. Having my first child so young a son, my young body went right back into shape.   Having my second child, my daughter, seven years later wasn’t’ as easy.   By that time, I had already gained some weight that I could not take off.  I did not have the time or strength to even try to work out and get my weight down.

Twenty years later I still had the mom’s burnout and energy struggles.  I have still been overweight and always so tired.  No matter what I did nothing helped with my energy.  The problem I have always had was to find time to work out, I do well in meal planning, and then I slack.  I had no consistency.  Can you relate?

Seriously though working full time and managing a household and kids on my own can drain a lot of your time.   Now, these may be the excuse in my head.  I have done all the things.

  • Meal prepping like I have mentioned
  • Smoothies
  • Overnight Oats
  • Protein Shakes
  • Various Vitamins
  • Attempting to stop drinking POP

I mean the list is endless.

Simple 3 Step System that Improves Mom Burnout to get Energy

It was not until recently that I found something that caught my eye.   My new favorite friend has helped tons of people with weight & energy.   I seriously felt like it was God-sent.  Just within a few days, I felt the difference in my energy.  This is a simple 3 step system. I mean a crazy hot mess mom like me that always lacks time, this process is simple to implement.  This system is a mom hack.  Drink coffee hot or cold and utilize the vitamins in the morning and at night. This supports the best energy and helps gut health.

I have always been the person who had 3 different alarm sets to get up in the morning.  Not anymore at times I usually am up before the alarms go off.  Another truth bomb, I loved to sleep in on my weekends.   This is not the case anymore, I am up early getting the things done around the house.  I have never been a morning person, but I truly can say I am such a different person now.

So, I have shared some personal insights with you.   Let me share with you a few things I do now to help with my energy levels along with my 3-step system.

Tips to Help Mom Burnout

  • I go to bed early and have at least 7 hours of sleep.  The average adult should maintain at least 7 to 9 hours of sleep, according to the Mayo Clinic.
  • I plan out weekly meals on Sundays
  • I also plan out my social media content for my online business on Sundays too
  • I shut down the computer and cell phone at least thirty minutes before I go to bed to be at ease when I officially hit the hay.
  • Drink water daily at least 34-68 ounces of water.  I try my best to drink four to six bottles of water. I utilize my water bottle. You can get one similar here:

The Real Struggles and Compromises

I can honestly say that I hardly have any pop.  Cherry Pepsi was my best friend.  I NO longer need it. My best days are drinking water with ice. I do love some Arnold Palmers.  I drink the lite ones and yes, they still have sugar, but it is okay to treat yourself to things you enjoy from time to time.

I often take short walks around my neighborhood but during these times of the pandemic, I have not visited the gym. Now I hope my story and journey help you in any way.  Whatever your goal maybe write them down.  From there make it a short obtainable goal. This way it will be easier to achieve it.  When we make the goal too big and it is not meet, then we feel like we have failed.  Let me share one of my all-time favorite quotes.

My Saving Grace Quote

Fall seven times get up eight!  I live by that quote. It really is my daily reminder.  Hanging up quotes is another way to keep you motivated to keep going. Check out some of my favorite quotes below.

Here are some planners and calendars I use to write down all the things about mom life.  Meal planning, recipes, all things social media for my online business, and daily tasks.
